Why is teasing so common among children?
children are often troubled by what don’t understand. Perhaps it is someone of a different customs, or someone with a handicap, or merely a child will is interested in quite different thing. Their first response may to be tease that child because they cannot cope with something out of the norm. However, once they get used to the child the teasing should stop. Where it continues and becomes malicious, it is usually as a result of insecurity. By teasing and undermining someone else, they hope to direct attention away from their own inadequacies, and bolster up their own position. Read the rest of this entry »
